How long should it take me to lose 50 lbs. with moderate exercise and eating a low fat diet?

I am 36 and not in shape at all. I plan to speed walk 1-2 times a week, work out with a personal trainer once a week and do light exercise for half hour each day for two days per week. I am also drinking lots of water, no red meat, pork or fried foods. How long should it take for me to lose the weight assuming that I do all of the above.
2-3 pounds a week?

    It can take you a year by the way you are working out. And IF you want to decrease that I think you will have to re-schedule your whole routine.

    Few things you need to add in your workout regime is aerobics, yoga and some more fitness like slow jogging rather than walking.

    Also in terms of your food try more on proteins and less fatty foods.
